This Shipping & Delivery Policy is an integral and enforceable part of the CSC Nexus Terms and Conditions. By registering, purchasing, or receiving any product or service from CSC Nexus, the Retailer, District Business Associate (DBA), or State Growth Partner (“Recipient”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all terms set forth in this document.

Failure to adhere to this policy shall be deemed a material breach of agreement and may result in suspension, termination of account, and/or legal proceedings without further notice.


1. Scope of the Policy

1.1 CSC Nexus primarily operates as a digital service platform providing government and private sector facilitation services.
1.2 Shipping and delivery obligations apply only in instances where a physical product is supplied — currently limited to Aadhaar updation devices, PAN updation devices, and any officially approved CSC Nexus hardware.
1.3 All digital services, documents, and credentials are delivered electronically through the CSC Nexus portal, registered email address, or official communication channels.


2. Obligations of the Recipient

The Recipient is mandatorily required to:

a) Provide accurate and complete shipping details during registration or purchase.
b) Ensure uninterrupted availability to receive delivery within the committed time frame.
c) Verify the product condition at the time of delivery before accepting it.
d) Maintain the product in original and operational condition at all times.

Non-compliance with these obligations shall be treated as gross negligence and may result in penalty, suspension, or termination from the CSC Nexus network.


3. Shipping Timelines & Method

3.1 All approved device orders will be dispatched within 10 (ten) to 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of payment confirmation and successful KYC verification.
3.2 CSC Nexus reserves the right to withhold shipment until all applicable fees, documentation, and verification requirements are fulfilled.
3.3 Shipments will be executed via CSC Nexus-authorized courier/logistics partners only. No exceptions are permitted.
3.4 Tracking details will be provided post-dispatch. The Recipient is solely responsible for monitoring shipment status.


4. Acceptance, Inspection & Reporting

4.1 At the time of delivery, the Recipient must:

  • Physically inspect the packaging and product;

  • Report any visible damage immediately to the delivery personnel;

  • Document any issue with clear photographs/videos; and

  • Refuse acceptance in case of severe damage.

4.2 Any claims of damage, defect, or shortage after acceptance will be deemed invalid, unless such issues are proven to have occurred prior to delivery.


5. Returns & Replacements

5.1 Returns will be accepted only for manufacturing defects or operational failures reported within 7 (seven) calendar days of delivery.
5.2 Products must be returned in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and invoice copies intact.
5.3 Returns initiated beyond the stipulated time frame will be automatically rejected without further correspondence.
5.4 Replacements will be dispatched only after inspection and verification by CSC Nexus technical staff.


6. Device Damage Liability

6.1 Once delivered, ownership and risk transfer immediately to the Recipient.
6.2 Any physical, operational, or accidental damage occurring post-delivery shall be the sole financial and legal responsibility of the Recipient.
6.3 The Recipient shall bear:

  • Full cost of repair or replacement; and

  • Any penalties imposed by CSC Nexus due to inability to perform services because of device damage.
    6.4 Willful damage, negligence, or misuse may result in permanent blacklisting of the Recipient from the CSC Nexus network.


7. Delays & Exceptions

CSC Nexus shall not be held responsible for delivery delays arising from:

a) Force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
b) Third-party courier delays beyond CSC Nexus’s direct control.
c) Incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the Recipient.

In such cases, redelivery will be attempted only after rectification of issues, and additional charges may apply.


8. Breach & Consequences

Failure to comply with this policy shall be treated as a serious contractual violation. CSC Nexus reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate service access;

  • Impose monetary penalties;

  • Forfeit any deposits or fees paid; and/or

  • Initiate legal proceedings to recover damages and protect the brand’s integrity.

Any breach causing reputational harm to CSC Nexus will be pursued to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law.
